  • Occlusal trauma causing reversible pulpitis
  • Occlusal trauma plus gingival inflammation resulting in pocket formation and reversible pulpitis
  • Suprabony or infrabony pocket formation treated with overzealous root planning and curettage leading to pulpal sensitivity
